After moving to a new city, young Andy Barclay receives a special present from his mother -- a seemingly innocent Buddi doll that becomes his best friend. When the doll suddenly takes on a life of its own, Andy unites with other neighborhood children to stop the sinister toy from wreaking bloody havoc.
At first, I thought it was a story about Chucky, but it wasn't. The story was about a toy which can talk and be friend with human. It has a chip inside it which functions to save the data, environment and words. Buddi has a system which it can control all the computer by itself. So, this toy is called Buddi before it meets its owner. The story starts when one of the workers have changed all the system inside this one Buddi, this Buddi is the only toy which has errors.
It starts to adapt with the environment and new words. It only saves the bad words and actions. The owner, Andy loves Buddi. The Buddi starts to kill people who makes its owner upset. The first person that has been killed is Andy's mother's boyfriend.
The story line was quite boring because the opening was so slow. The best part was the ending, when that Buddi trapped all the customers in the mall. It hacked all the systems and computers in the mall. It tried to kill everyone who could harm Andy.
To me, the whole movie was not what I was expected. I didn't think it was scary, but it was really thrilled. It's really creepy when seeing a toy which can kill people.
